Don’t know if you’re pregnant?
Urine pregnancy test.
The hormone HCG or GCH begins to be produced from the ninth day after conception, but increases significantly in the following weeks.
The presence of HCG is accurately detected through urine. You just have to carry the urine in a sterilized, tightly closed container.
Current pregnancy tests have a very high sensitivity and can detect even low concentrations of the HCG hormone.
The pregnancy test in urine
The effectiveness of the pregnancy test is very high, when performed at the right time, reaching a reliability of more than 99.5%. When a pregnancy test is positive it means that the hormone hCG has been detected in the urine and there is a very high probability that the woman is pregnant.
If the test is negative, there are two possibilities: the woman is not pregnant or the test was performed before the appropriate time and the hormone level has not reached the minimum level that the test can detect. It would be advisable to wait 48 hours to perform a new test, thus giving time for the level of hCG in the urine to increase.
